Who We Are?
The best RPGs are games with imaginative settings, with non-limiting gameplay that enables the player to create and connect with the world and players around them. The best GMs are the ones who say ‘yes, and’, who tell the player the results of their actions, instead of telling them what they can’t do.
At FWD RPG, we promote games where GMs use this methodology by expanding the players horizon by introducing new systems, worlds, and experiences.
FWD RPG is an organization where games are fun and inclusive, settings are creative and unique, GMs are respectful and willing to teach and guide players. Players are encouraged to help build the story through descriptive gameplay instead of prescriptive responses. We create and play RPGs, and are open to beginners and veteran gamers alike!
We want to provide you an easy way to introduce you to your next favorite tabletop roleplaying game, regardless of your skill level. We want RPG players, and RPGs, to reach the masses while building and maintaining a fun and inclusive environment.
In summary, we are a group of players just like you who wanted a community to play and enjoy RPGs with. Come join us!
The Beginning...
Eric went to a convention in August of 2019 that had rooms devoted to Miscellaneous RPGs, Pathfinder Society, and Adventurers League. The Pathfinder and Adventurers rooms were full of people, but the Miscellaneous room was empty. Eric kept checking back in, but not once did he see an RPG being played in that room. He couldn’t believe that no one was playing any other awesome games. Eric became determined to increase the popularity of all deserving tabletop roleplaying games, and FWD RPG was born!

Our 3 Tenets
